Beyond the Mirror: Why Do You Really Want to Feel Better?
Let’s take a moment to go deeper.
When we say we want to lose weight, tone up, or get fit, it often seems like the goal is physical. But if we really pause and listen to ourselves, those surface goals are usually rooted in something much more meaningful.
We want to feel more confident in our own skin. We want to walk into a room without second-guessing how we look. We want to feel strong, energised, and capable in our daily lives. We want to be role models for our kids, or have the energy to keep up with them. Maybe we want to feel more in control when life feels chaotic.
That is the power of knowing your WHY.
Your "why" is what gets you moving on the days you feel flat. It’s the gentle nudge that says, "Do it for how you'll feel after." When our why is rooted in self-love, in purpose, in desire for a better life—suddenly the journey becomes about more than just looking different. It becomes about feeling aligned with the version of you that you know is in there.
So here’s what I want you to do today: Take 5 minutes. Sit quietly. Ask yourself:
Why do I really want to feel better?
What will change for me if I do?
What kind of life do I want to create?
Let your answers flow without judgement. No one else needs to see it unless you want to share. This is for YOU.
Today’s Challenge: Write down your why. Post it somewhere visible—on your fridge, bathroom mirror, or as your phone lock screen. If you feel brave, tag me on Instagram or drop me a DM with what you uncovered. I'd love to support you.
This is the start of something deeper.
