10 Minutes to Shift Everything: The Myth of  ‘Not Enough Time’

Let’s address one of the biggest mindset traps I hear all the time: “I just don’t have the time.”

Life is full-on. Between work, family, meals, errands, and everything else, it's so easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list. But the truth is: you don’t need an hour-long workout or a perfect gym routine. You just need 10 intentional minutes.

Ten minutes of movement can:

  • Boost your mood

  • Ease stress

  • Reignite your energy

  • Create a ripple effect of better choices all day long

Think about this: how often do we scroll for 10 minutes without even realising it? Or wait 10 minutes for the kettle to boil.. that's a long friggin boil, but you get the jist of it ;-) or the kids to get ready, or a Zoom call to start? That time is already there—we just need to claim it.

Ideas for your 10 minutes:

  • Dance to your favourite upbeat song - aerobics practice in my kitchen was always a good one for me!

  • Walk around the block or up and down the stairs

  • Do some gentle yoga or mobility

  • Try one of my Daily Movement Mindset videos

Movement doesn’t have to look like a traditional workout. What matters most is consistency and intention.

The 50 STRONG CHALLENGE:

... there may be daily movement

Actually there definitely is!

What is the 50 STRONG challenge?... it is a discipline and habit challenge with daily 'rules' or as I like to call them 'Steps to Success' to adhere to. It's not crazy, but it's not going to be a walk in the park either. The focus is on creating energy and structure that makes you feel like you have MORE time in your day, even if you are doing MORE and learn some stuff along the way.

You choose your day 1 and you do those steps EVERY SINGLE DAY! You miss a step on any day, you start again.

Why do we do this?

a) it gives us control over our decisions

b) simple rules are easier to stick to

c) once you start to get that streak... you don't want to mess it up, increasing your motivation

d) once you start to FEEL the result of those steps kicking in - there's more motivation again

e) once you start to SEE the results - even more motivation

f) by the half way point you are feeling like a strong, in-control, badass female ready to take on the world and you'll keep going to 50 days NO PROBLEM!

g) complete 50 days with me from 18th May... I may just send you a certificate - who doesn't love a certificate!? lol!

h) finally, if you do miss a day, that's ok, no judgement, no pressure. It's not a fail. You can just start again as that is how we build habits and learn - by failing & from our mistakes. If we never failed, never made a mistake, never had a 'fuck it' day we'd all be perfect... and i'd be out of a job lol!
